We are excited for the new school year and all that PTS (Parents, Teachers and Students) have planned. DES PTS is a parent-run organization that works with staff and faculty to provide support and enrichment to the amazing kids that attend our school. DES PTS supports many programs and financially contributes to teachers and staff needs. How can we do that? Through our incredible parent volunteers! We meet monthly to discuss the upcoming events and programs as well as to connect with our teacher liaison and principal to learn about the current events on campus. We would love to have you become a part of our DES PTS, and we have some good news, you already are! No membership required, instead you’ll be sent information and invited to volunteer with us multiple times throughout the year, all you have to do is sign up. It is a vital part of our school as well as being a great way to meet other parents and feel connected to our school. DURHAM GALA Put this down as a MUST DO. Our major fundraising event, this evening allows us to dress up and party the night away while we raise funds for our school. Each year we use these funds to upgrade technology, literacy materials, and much more. Worthwhile, but it is an absolute blast!

MOTHER SON NIGHT An evening of skating and games. Sons can bring their mom or other special female guest to mingle and have fun. You can't miss it! DES PTS events are organized for parents/guardians and students of DES only unless noted.

CHRISTMAS BOUTIQUE This wonderful and much loved event allows each DES student an opportunity to buy Christmas presents for their families

FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE A sweet tradition, our DES girls can bring their father or special male guest to enjoy a dance party that cannot be missed. High cute factor.
