Corona Virus Letter to Parents and Community:
The Durham Unified School District is continuing to closely monitor the
outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout the state and more
importantly here in Butte County. As of today, March 12, 2020, Butte
County has zero COVID-19 cases. As always DUSD’s first and most
important priorities are the well-being and safety of our students and
employees. We are in constant contact with Butte County Public Health
to monitor the situation and will update you if any new information is
received. At this time, all schools will remain open and we encourage
you to follow basic hygiene guidelines: frequent handwashing and
keeping students home only if they have symptoms. Please know we
have hired additional custodial staff to ensure our classrooms are kept
disinfected nightly.
